Situation
Sanofi and Hudson RPO have enjoyed a successful partnership since 2007. However, Sanofi relied on HR business partners (HRBP’s) to manage all recruiting before engaging an RPO. As a result, there were inconsistencies in skill and candidate management and no talent pooling for future vacancies. Furthermore, talent was scarce, with no ability to manage the passive market, and the time-to-fill was slow – inevitability increasing overall recruitment costs.
Journey to success
The evolution of the account has seen Sanofi’s cost per hire reduced by 50% while improving hiring manager and candidate satisfaction. Having a dedicated team of recruitment specialists has also enabled a focus on passive talent, and as a result, proactive sourcing has increased from 0% to 25%.
The ongoing partnership has allowed the Hudson RPO team to assess new innovations and be involved in various projects, including business transformation programs, HR technology implementations, internal career fairs, and employer branding consultation.
The Sanofi team has since moved to a Total Talent Solution handling internal and external recruitment across permanent, fixed-term contract and temporary talent.
